Broadstone launches Broadstone Engage: giving members, trustees and employers real-time access to pension information

  • Broadstone Engage | Clients gives trustees real-time access to the systems running their pension scheme to improve governance
  • Broadstone Engage | Members enables members to manage their pension benefits online, update personal data and obtain benefit calculations
  • Broadstone Engage | Members Lite is a scheme information web page that complies with documentation publishing disclosure requirements

Broadstone, a leading independent pensions, employee benefits, investments and insurance consultancy, has launched Broadstone Engage: its new digital portal to improve pensions visibility and improve outcomes for members, trustees and employers.

Broadstone Engage builds on the previous ‘4my’ solutions by providing real-time access to data and information for users to improve member engagement and help trustees meet increasing governance requirements.

The dedicated member platform – Broadstone Engage | Members – gives users the ability to access information on their pension benefits whenever it suits them through intuitive and easy to use functionality. Key features include enabling members to keep their personal details up to date, viewing communications from both Broadstone and trustees and obtaining pension calculations.

A slimmed down version – Broadstone Engage | Members Lite  – creates a cost-effective scheme information web page to comply with documentation publishing disclosure requirements.

To support trustees and employers with the day to day running of their scheme, Broadstone Engage I Clients provides a suite of tools and information to ease scheme management and efficient governance, especially relevant given the advent of the General Code.

This solution provides a real-time window into the systems the Broadstone team use. This allows trustees and employers to view up-to-date data, reports and information thereby increasing the transparency of the scheme’s administration, improving scheme governance and building trust.

Gavin Giles, Head of Pensions Administration at Broadstone, commented “Helping members to understand and value their pension benefits has never been more important. In today’s world of online and mobile banking, people expect to have information on all aspects of their finances at their fingertips – Broadstone Engage meets these requirements and more.

“For our clients, enabling them to see, in real-time, important information about their scheme and the services Broadstone provides will help them meet ever-increasing governance requirements, particularly as the General Code is introduced. We’re delighted to provide these tools to our clients and their members as part of our award-winning services.”
