With the cash plan, your employees can claim back 100% of the cost of the following (subject to any maximum limits of the plan):

Also included - mywellness
Included within your employees’ cash plan membership is access to the mywellness online service.
This service provides a wealth of tools and information that helps your employees proactively manage their health and wellbeing, such as:

- 24/7 counselling and support helpline
- Face-to-face counselling
- On-demand physio
- Online health assessments
Also included are a range of other discounts on things like everyday shopping, days out and much, much more.
How does it work?
This plan is best suited to a business with 3-100 employees who are looking to support their employees’ health and wellbeing and that are new to market. The business pays for the plan and employees can voluntarily choose to top up their level of cover. All you need to do is provide us with some basic information about your business and your employees and our simple three-step process will ensure that your plan is up and running in no time.
Provide us with a few details about your business and let us know how many employees you have and the level of cover you want to provide.
We will then be in touch to collate your employee data, obtain the necessary signatures and set up your plan. Once Health Shield have all the relevant information, cover will commence from the 1st of the following month.

Your monthly payments cover the cost of claims that your employees make on treatments. For example:
Example 1: Company of 10 employees all on Level 1 (£6.30 per month x 10 employees) = £63.00 per month.
Example 2: Company of 10 employees all on Level 2 (£11.90 per month x 10 employees) = £119.00 per month.
Example 3: Company of 30 employees all on Level 1 (£6.30 per month x 30 employees) = £189.00 per month or the same company decides to cover employee and Partners it would be £378.00 per month.
Four levels of cover to choose from
You can choose from four levels of cover with the Health Shield cash plan. The levels of cover determine the maximum amount you can claim back for each treatment covered under the plan.
Employees’ dependent children are also included with each level of cover (up to the age of 21 or 24 if in full-time education).
Employees can also choose to make additional contributions via Direct Debit in order to increase their level of coverage.
