Beau joined Broadstone in 2017 as an actuarial consultant. Prior to this, Beau started his professional career as an actuarial analyst at Mercer in 2012, where he quickly became a key member of the actuarial team. This involved providing actuarial support to senior colleagues and scheme actuaries on a wide range of trustee and employer services, including triennial valuations and pension cost accounting. He also has valuable experience in presenting to members and running member drop-in sessions.
Beau graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 with a 1st class degree in Economics. He then continued his studies at the University of Sheffield and was awarded a Masters degree (Distinction) in Financial Economics in 2012. Beau is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and is currently working towards obtaining his scheme actuary certificate.
Outside of work, Beau enjoys football and travelling.
