Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and joined Broadstone in July 2019 having previously worked at Willis Towers Watson and HSBC Actuaries and Consultants. He has over 18 years’ experience in the pensions industry, advising both trustee and corporate clients, and he has held a number of scheme actuary appointments since 2012. Andrew graduated with a first-class degree in Geology and Geophysics from Durham University, and in a previous career, worked as a seismologist in the oil industry. Outside of work, he is a keen cyclist and enjoys a wide variety of sports (although he continues to be disappointed in his football team, Newcastle United). He also enjoys cooking and eating and is grateful that cycling burns off the calories.
